How to vote for SoBro’s project in the City’s Participatory Budgeting (PB) program.

If you would like more info, here’s how Participatory Budgeting works.

  1. Only Saratoga Springs residents can vote.

  2. You will use your cell phone number to register. There is an alternative if you don’t have a cell phone.

  3. You will find a list of proposed projects, each with a budget amount.

  4. You will be given a budget of $100,000 to allocate across projects that you support.

  5. You can vote for one project or many projects, so long as you don’t exceed your $100,000.

  6. Please vote to give SoBro $16,000 for its project.

  7. You do not need to use all $100,000. In fact, you might consider only selecting projects that you think are really valuable and not selecting any about which you feel lukewarm. This is because votes are not ranked or weighted, so each project that you select will get one vote. Selecting a project that you don’t strongly favor can dilute your support for those projects that you really value.
